You can often save more money by changing your driving style than going after super unleaded, supermarket vs BP/Shell/Esso petrol debate etc.
These are all marketing tactics. Pumps get more profit per liter on super unleaded. Some people think they are superior and fund their profit.
Which is actually good though. The rest of us thus get fuel even cheaper. If no one buys super unleaded, then regular price will go up even further.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
