I've had that problem before, with the price going down after purchase. This is what I did. Buy the item again at the cheaper price. Then return it (still in it's original wrapping) and give them the original full price receipt. You will then have the difference back. It worked for me.

Sneaky and morally wrong but quite clever
    Always ask ACAS

The flaw in that plan is they dont have to take the tv back, so the risk is you could well have two tv's

Somewhere like Argos will take anything back within 30 days (for a refund), provided it isn't used and isn't an excluded item.
  • Why do you gang up on OP. He clearly had long arms and small pockets. Perhaps he should go to A&E and ask for the arm shortening operation to prevent further extraction of monies from his wallet.

Plus all the messing about would probably end up costing more than £50 in time and petrol! ;)

hardly ganging up, he asked if he was likely to get anything back so we replied with a basic NO

Lemmings all follow each other blindly not asking where they are going, nor why.

The OP is a Troll sitting back watching posters blindly fall over themselves. hence the OP's username.
