But if you're suggesting that the dollar is going to go down and petrol is going to go up, isn't that an obvious correlation (for Americans)? We all know that crude is priced in dollars and that there has been pressure in the last year or so to migrate towards the strongest possible currency for pricing. Therefore if the dollar goes down, there's a good chance crude will be priced in a different, stronger currency and therefore Americans will need to pay more for it. What's that got to do with financial armageddon? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? - Within 2 years you will not recognize America.
- The USD will die by 2012.
- You can only rely on gold and silver.
- Americans will become very poor.
- Within 2 years: “The Devil’s Messiah” ?? Churches and many pastors are being corrupted. The Anti-Christ coming within 2 years??
- Obama is in trouble.
- Nearly everyone will be working for the government: Communism! It's simple guys lets monitor the next 12 months ?
I'm not really sure that the above 'predictions' are quantifiable and measurable, so I'm not clear how it will be possible to monitor progress, as you say. They are vague, conspiratorial ramblings that don't really mean anything. 'Americans will become very poor'. How do you prepose we monitor this situation?
And you'll also need to suggest a sensible method to measure and monitor whether the Anti-Christ has indeed arrived within the next two years. Maybe a photograph on the thread of said devil would be the evidence we require?
If could let us know how we should do this we can indeed re-visit the thread over the next two years and track the progress of this complete and utter loon.0 -
Lindsey Williams, says Oil is not a fossil fuel, it replenishes itself?
Ash, he also thinks the anti-christ is coming within two years and that he has an Illuminati contact who tells him secret stuff. He might not be the person you want to hang your hat on for sensible information.0 -
I thought the anti-Christ had arrived. His name is Tony Blair.0

It's terrifying how some guy can rant on a social media website and ramble in a blog and his words are taken for gospel by certain types of people.
It seems that the more sensationalist and dramatic a persons prophecy of doom is, the more latched onto it gets by the tin-foil hatters. they love it! It's only a form of brainwashing as far as I can see, kinda like how religion all started...0 -

travellingbum wrote: »Many people believe the Mayan calendar represents the end of the world by December 21, 2012 through a doomsday or apocalypse scenario. Other people will agree that these are the "end times" but also believe we may be witnessing the beginning of the "Golden Age" and the Age of Aquarius. By 2012, some believe we will see a return of Planet X or Nibiru and are trying to figure out how to survive 2012. There are also people who believe nothing will happen by 2012.
Stick me down as being firmly in the catagory highlighted in bold. You'd have to be a complete wackjob to thing that we'll see a return of Planent Nibiru in 2012. People in the know already understand that Planet Nibiru will return in April 2013, resplendant in its wonder and comeplete with lizards made of pure gold. Nanu nanu.0 -
Curiousity got the better of me and I googled Nibiru. This is the wiki entry:The Nibiru collision is a supposed encounter between the Earth and a large planetary object (either a collision or a near-miss) which certain groups believe will take place in the early 21st century. Believers in this doomsday event usually refer to this object as Planet X or Nibiru.
The idea was first proposed in 1995 by Nancy Lieder, founder of the website ZetaTalk. Lieder describes herself as a contactee with the ability to receive messages from extra-terrestrials from the Zeta Reticuli star system through an implant in her brain. She states that she was chosen to warn mankind that the object would sweep through the inner Solar System in May 2003, later revised to around 2010, causing Earth to undergo a pole shift that would destroy most of humanity. The predicted collision has subsequently spread beyond Lieder's website and has been embraced by numerous internet doomsday groups, most of which link the event to the 2012 phenomenon. Although the name "Nibiru" is derived from the works of ancient astronaut writer Zecharia Sitchin and his interpretations of Babylonian and Sumerian mythology, Sitchin himself denies any connection between his work and claims of a coming apocalypse.0 -
The "age of aquarius" is a genuine astronomical event.
There's a good explanation here from about 13:30 ..............
