Hya SF, hope your are feeling better soon.
BMF is right. I am speaking as someone who has a "gift" for putting far too much pressure on herself (resulting in years of depression and many, many therapist sessions, not to mention Pr***c!).
I am slowly getting better at "catching myself on", standing back and saying to myself...does it really matter, do things have to be done this way and in this time-frame?? Very often there are lots of "no" answers there.
In fact, "No" can be a very good word...learning to say it to yourself and to others can take a lot of pressure off yourself...honest! It is such a hard thing to do though, as taking on too much (and saying "yes" all the time) is so ingrained in me (and you too SF?)
Seriously, take time out and think out of the box a bit...if everything has to be done, do you have to do it all?? Make a plan, but a less demanding one for yourself...better to get there in one piece, rather than in millions of pieces.
Oooh 'eck, listen to me...my therapist would be so proud!! All I have to do is keep following what I preach!! Now here endeth the lesson.:rotfl:
Take care, night, night xxx

Had a much better day
Me and OH have been to the cinema this afternoon and then out for tea - he treated me to themHad an amazing tea - had smoked salmon with a posh potato salad for starters, and then grilled sea bass fillets (2!) with basil potatoes and panfried prawns. Delicious! We also shared a sticky toffee pud for afters - yum
Feeling much better about things today, thanks for those who asked xBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
