Make sure where ever yous decide to have your reception has nice places to take photos and that it still looks well at Easter, the time of the year that you are thinking of.

Good tip, thanks! I don't want to get carried away with everything so I can make a good decision :rotfl:

Have decided that the emergency funds will have to take a back seat for a while - there are savings we can use if necessary but we'll need to save every penny now for other things :) I still want to drip feed the house deposit too, as we want to move to our own place eventually. As soon as I know what my salary will be, then I'll do another SOA and see where savings can be made!

Also, my detox starts tomorrow .... _pale_

BTW, this is only my opinion! It might be an idea if your reception and the area where the photos are to be taken is user friendly for those who have disabilities and mobility issues. You wouldn't want anyone not to be in photos!

How is your detox going? I never did a detox.

When I say a detox, I just mean a strict healthy eating plan, and Day 1 did not go well... :o

The first day at school went okay :) I survived :j

Really tired though - had a lot to take in and lots of things to remember, so an early night is definitely needed. Put petrol in the car on the way home so not a NSD either - oh well.

Feel a bit deflated this evening? Not sure why.

    Yawn, I am so tired.

Another busy day - very overwhelming in a way. Was in the staff room at break time and just wanted to burst into tears all the time.

1st NSD of the month though, so that's always a good thing.

It will get better, the first few days are always overwhelming as there is always so much to take in.

It will take a while to settle in, allow yourself time to adjust. When things aren't going so well think of the utterly amazing summer you have just had and everything that has happened! I hope tomorrow goes better for you!

Today went fine :D I taught my first lesson and had a team lesson and survived my first dinner duty... so I've left the building with a smile on my face, which is the main thing at the moment!

2nd NSD too - being in school means I'm not tempted to spend! :)
