    Thanks guys :)

    15th NSD of May today.

I applied for another job today which was an electronic application. I checked it again later, once I'd submitted it before, and realised there's a spelling mistake in it! I can't believe it. :(

Oh dear, poor you SF...as Footie says...it's their loss.

Lots of ((((((hugs)))))) winging their way to you. The right job for you just hasn't happened yet...but it will soon, I'm sure of it!!

I haven't even started looking for jobs yet, though I know I should.

We are having a big meeting tomorrow with all us IT staff being made redundant in July...there's 73 of us! Even if I really wanted to continue with IT...the local job market is going to be totally swamped!!

So now I have to work out what I want to do...again!!

Keep on smiling and have a nice relaxing evening if you can.

Thanks guys - didn't get it but oh well! Felt a bit unsure from the moment I got there, so it's probably a good thing. Still feeling a bit rubbish this evening though. It's never nice to hear you're not good enough.

    Hi sf
I'm really sorry I haven't popped by before now, it's been a busy month.

Please don't ever think you're not good enough for a job, that's rarely the case and, if you think that, no matter what you do it will be communicated to the person/people interviewing you.

I spent a long time thinking that not getting a job was a rejection of me as a person and it took me ages to realise that that's not the case and that I simply didn't fit the mould of what they were looking for. Try not to take it personally, it isn't meant like that at all.

You're getting lots of interviews by the looks of it, so it could be that you need practice, so the more you get the better until it becomes routine and you get to know the sort of questions you're going to be asked and how you need to reply.

Would you be able to get some feedback from the interviews you've been to? It's sometimes not a nice thing to get back but it can be incredibly useful.

There's a job out there somewhere with your name on it and it will find you eventually, it might just take a little while.

Chin up, you've got a lot going for you and you'll get over this little hurdle (and that's all it is, really, in the greater scheme of things).

    (((((hugs)))))

Thanks spoon, what a lovely post :)

I transferred £250 to wedding savings today as it's payday. Still trying to focus on saving as much as possible, as I need to even more so now.

I'm in the process of applying for another job, so I'm trying my best. Can't do more than that, right?

17th NSD of May for me today :)
