    Hi SF

I didn't know you had a diary till I saw your post on the Frugal thread. I'm terribly [strike]nosy[/strike] curious so had to pop by for a read. :p You are doing fantastically well with your goals! :T What does the moving out fund have to cover? And when will you be moving? Anyway, hope you continue to save and have lots of NSDs - best of luck! :)

:hello: Nuala and thanks for popping by! :) My moving out fund has to be done by the end of June and it's to cover a month's rent and food really; my BF is also saving to cover other things :) the £700 is just a figure I came up with - more would be great really!

    Morning :)

Feeling sorry for myself again this morning - didn't sleep well due to the fact I couldn't find a comfortable place to lie! My shoulders, arms, back, chest and face are still really painful :( Going to school in the morning could be interesting!

I don't think I'm going to go anywhere today - I'm not in the mood at all, so it could be another NSD here for me. Will confirm that later though :)

Just checked my moving out fund and the £10 I transferred from PP has gone in, so it now stands at £312.58 :j :j :j

    Getting there, slowly!

Hi SF..do you have any bicarbonate of soda you could put into a bath to soak your sun-burned bits or failing that, soak a towel & wring it out to drape across your shoulders? Don't know why, but the bicarb takes the itching & heat out of things like chicken pox & heat rash...

So, if you're moving out in June, that gives you around 6 weeks or so before you can be officially called 'teecha' I guess--how exciting! Plus of course there's another week's half term & a Bank Holiday Monday so it's really not that long at all is it  Your training seems to have gone past so quickly, I can still remember reading about your concerns at the start..
Just a thought. I know absolutely nothing about it but have heard about low-cost housing for 'essential workers' like teachers, nurses etc. Have you had a look at any of those types of schemes? May be worth a look-see, even if they don't amount to much..

BMF I don't have any soda but have been sat with a cold flannel on my shoulders :) my course has gone SO fast, it's quite scary! Excited about the next step though :D I haven't herd about that kind of scheme, will have to look into that, thanks!

It isn't a NSD for me after all; had to do some washing as had run out of socks :o so thats £3 for the laundrette. Maybe I shouldn't have upped my target on the NSD thread - it's gonna be tight now! :)

You'll have saved the rest in no time! I know what you mean, more would always be nice but we always seem to manage with whatever we've got!

Poor you with sunburn ... it's kind of funny (not for you of course!) that you came back from soaring temps in Kuwait to the UK only to get sunburn! If you have any aloe vera (or an aloe vera plant to squeeze the gel from), that's meant to be great for sunburn. Hope you sleep better tonight.
