Padlock stuck in shed - help!

No chance with 200mm bolt cutters unless the padlock is the sort of 'quality' that will fall off with one hammer blow anyway.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0

Hacksaw, it may take a while depending on the quality of the lock.0

Guess that puts paid to the bolt cutters idea! I'll try attacking it with a hammer and, all else failing, I'll remove the hasp and replace it.
If anyone knows of a good hacksaw to get for the job, let me know.0 -
I have done this twice. Each time a bit of elbow grease and a junior hacksaw will cut through most padlocks. Cost less than £1

wilkos sell them as do the sheds, or and dont forget to get another padlock0 -
Claw hammer (the claw end) inbetween the shackle and the lock body and a sharp pull upwards should snap it without damaging the hasp or staple.0
