Hi I've been with Virgin Media since 1994 (Telewest back then), Anyway I currently have TV, internet and telephone with them. I have the XL tv package, XL phone line (unlimited & international calls) & XL internet (20 mb). On top of the XL tv I pay for the Sky sports & Sky movies collection and the Asian Bundle. I also have a V+ box and an additional set top box.
Currently I am paying £125.99 a month, after speaking with a friend who advised I could probably get a better deal I rang VM and discussed my contract. The VM advisor James reduced the monthly payment to £97.94.
Anyway after telling my friend of this wonderful saving he said I am still paying above the odds, is this true? or am I now being too greedy for a better deal?
Any feedback would be most welcome

A quick check on the virgin media website shows the price to be the following, so you decide;-
What you pay
£30.51 for 2 months
then £73.51 a month*
12 month contract
*When you take a phone line for £11.99 a month0 -

I don't think that £73.51 includes the Asian bundle or the extra box
once you add these on the total cost online comes to £105.44 (this includes line rental).
It will probably still b worth going through to the cancellations department again and saying that you are still not happy with your price - theres no harm in trying.
on the plus side your price should come down once the sports and movies price is reduced after the recent ruling0
