Sky on a month by month basis?

I'd like sky sports for the final month of the football season, and thats all!
Is that possible? I definately don't want to be tied to a 12 or even a 6 month contract. Haven't subscribed for about 3/4 years now and remember how hard it was to cancel over the phone, given the hard sell etc
.
Worked it out that a month subs would work out at about the same as going to pub and watching it with the accompanying couple of pints. I suppose it can't be done online?

I think you will find it cannot be done anywhere not just online (assuming you do not have any sky subscription at the moment).0 -
you can cancel sky sports at anytime (as is what i have done this weekend) but you would still be stuck with the basic package0

It would hardly profit Sky to do an install and supply the box for a 1 month subscription. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I don't need or want more channels, have freeview. It would hardly profit Sky to do an install and supply the box for a 1 month subscription.
