Sky on a month by month basis?

Options
I'd like sky sports for the final month of the football season, and thats all!

Is that possible? I definately don't want to be tied to a 12 or even a 6 month contract. Haven't subscribed for about 3/4 years now and remember how hard it was to cancel over the phone, given the hard sell etc :(.

Worked it out that a month subs would work out at about the same as going to pub and watching it with the accompanying couple of pints. I suppose it can't be done online?

I think you will find it cannot be done anywhere not just online (assuming you do not have any sky subscription at the moment).

you can cancel sky sports at anytime (as is what i have done this weekend) but you would still be stuck with the basic package

It would hardly profit Sky to do an install and supply the box for a 1 month subscription.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
