Update to my earlier post:
Have been on Plusnet value broadband package for a month and also had the phone line transferred to Plusnet 2 weeks ago with the anytime calls package. Saving a fortune now I'm rid of BT phone and Tesco broadband.
Broadband line speed was very variable for the first week with occasional dropping of the connection but since then things have stabilized and I am more than happy with Plusnet. The website is excellent and itemised call lists are only a day in arrears now which is acceptable. Being able to see daily and cumulative monthly broadband data usage is excellent.
No real problems and good value. Recommended ISP and phone line supplier.Never trust a financial institution.
