Orange new tariffs - clarification required
There seems to be some disparity between the tariffs offered from resellers and the orange website e.g:
Dolphin £35/18mth -
Orange: 550mins/Unlimited Texts
Phones 4u: 500mins/500texts
Onestopphoneshop: 250mins/250texts
Can anyone clarify whether the Orange has an "exclusive" deal on the unlimited texts part, or would you still get this deal if you went through someone else?
Basically in the market for a Samsung e900 (and hopefully an xbox360 if i can get one thrown in), but currently on an old plan from Orange (YP3000 - 3000texts, 0 mins @ £20pm) and looking to upgrade.
I need a lot of texts per month, realistically 1000 per month min.
Any advice appreciated!

3000 texts is now £25 if you will need this tariff down the line dont get rid, could you bar outgoing calls on the handset and give it to 1 of your kids? ( if you have any !)
unsure about your question but sure some1 will be along soonIf I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:0 -

I don't suppose there would be a "loophole" round this, or even a "tariff downgrade/upgrade" possibility after 6 months or so?The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.

def direct only - plus if you go web or phone you get more than in retail:rolleyes:
keep your drink.....just give me the money0 -
im not too sure. i work in orange retail and currently we're doing the better deals than direct. take into account that trading in phones for 50 pounds credit can only be done in retail...thats if you don't take our pathetic broadband (erm, i mean 'WONDERFUL' broadband...)
Also with retail you can at least play with the phones and get proper advice rather than going by a picture on the internet. k800i for example is a chunk! but u wouldnt realise online or on fone...:0 -
hello i work for orange:
dolphin 35 (12mth plan):
buy in orange shop: 250 mins/ 250 texts
buy online: 275mins/ 750 texts
dolphin 35 (18mth plan)
buy in orange shop: 500mins/ unlimited texts
buy online: 550mins/ unlimited texts
indirect: 500mins/ 500 texts
(all eligable for free broadband)

it's a pity that the range of handsets orange actually have is utter crap. I'm surprised orang have any customers left, the way they have started behaving...The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.

Hello - I just want to say I have been an orange customer for 7 years, and they have got progressively worse - charging me double for some bundles in one month when I upgraded - claiming that that was the norm. Also learned that they now charge for delivery reports - only learned that recently when switched to a nokia phone. Got stung for an extra £4.50 on the bill! (Am a heavy texter!).0
