Hia, Yes!! useing all original power leads / charger ect and also at times when its suddenly shut down it had only been switched on for litteraly 5 minutes so cant be connected to only when overheating.
ah ok, we had the same prob with hubby's laptop a while ago, after sending it away 3 times we found out we were using a power lead for a diff laptop, it would switch on but when it was trying to do a few things at a time it would go off, But that was due to the different power adapter
sorry i cant really offer any more advice Can you see the mountains through the fog?0 -

Why not read the thread more closely. The OP's had enough of repairs full stop, what he's after is a refund or replacement, something Toshiba are unlikely to give him.why not contact toshiba, dsg group are monkeys and cant repair most companys laptops for this reason e.g fujitsu0 -

Well if you did read it closely youll see im not dealing with Toshiba at the moment as its still under 1 yrs since date of purchase so im actually dealing with Dixons. And yes thats true, my problem is that the same fault is developing over and over again and this is not what i paid for to be with out a machine for a number of weeks over and over again, its obvious that what ever they are doing to repair it is not working as the same problem occurs and as this is the third time I really cant believe I would be expected to keep this machine..
I will write to the head office and see what happens.
