You can wear yourself out trying to get the best buy every time lindy. Some times its nice just to get the one that seems right first time.0

I so agree! I love being as MSE as possible but the amount of time I spent looking for the best 'deal' is exhausting.
I totally understand people who renew their car insurance every year (or similar) without doing a search for a better price. It is so time consuming. Fortunately I'm a lady of leisure (how lovely sounding is that?) so can faff around a lot of the time. Having said that I have taught for 40 years so don't feel too bad about it!0 -
Bargain
Though probably more flimsy than the other one I should think -it meant for carers by the looks of it, rather than the elderly person themselves and do you have to move the inner bits about?. I notice the more expensive one also has bumpy construction so less easily dropped. That was another problem with dad, he would drop the lot and not know if he had picked up the all right ones or what.
I always go through a rigaramole with car insurance though- you can save hundreds. Son moved to London last year, his insurers wanted to bung on another £600 for the pleasure of him living inner citybut he spent a day checking around and saved £400. Now thats worthwhile isnt it. But sometimes I get my knickers in a twist looking for the cheapest of everything and feel exhausted at the end of it and wonder if it was worth the few quid Id saved

A bargain indeed! Thank you so much.
Now all I need to do is stop myself pressing the VAT exemption button to save myself a few pennies
I must get a grip!0 -
You can have mine if you like, never used it. Pink with MORN/NOON/EVE/BED on the top of 4 compartments (even in braille), got it from the local chemist. I'll even stand you the postage! PM with address if you haven't already bought one.0

Norbertsmum, the simple version daily pill organiser is exactly what I want - tad expensive though! (Sorry, trying to be a real MSE!!) Thank you for going out of your way to help - am very grateful.
Many pharmacies will dispense these for free. Get the GP to liaise with a chemist and set up a nomad system.
The times will be written along the side.0 -
pmlindyloo - ready for posting tomorrow.
Dr D - just out of curiousity what is a "nomad system"?0 -
