Need some pretty urgent help

I have been through a step by step guide to remove the ave.exe virus.

I have been through deleting the file and the associated registry entries.

Only now I have lost all permissions.
I can't get onto the internet
I cannot load the computer into safe mode
I cannot change the msconfig to "dignostic mode"
The computer locks up after a while.

I am totally frustrated. I have a lot of vital files on it that I can't really afford to lose and it has only been a week since my last backup!!

PLEASE, if anybody can help I'll be so grateful.

remove the hard drive and use it as a slave drive on a different PC to back up the files and then reformat when you reinsert back onto the primary PC

No I haven't got the facilities to use it as a slave, and given it has a virus on evidently. I would be very wary of doing so. I don't have an OS disk and there are no restore points, which I think must be down to the virus as I always create on about every 2 days.

I have located the source file, which is apparently the cause of the virus (ave.exe) it is hidden in C:\Documents and Settings\Ryan\Local Settings\Application data\ave.exe.

I have managed to use DOS to get it displayed by using DIR/AH/OD

However, I cannot remember the command to actually delete the file

Thanks, sorted that. Now I have to try and establish how the virus came back. I was on youtube at the time and it all just went crazy. Just read that it may be rooted and to try TDSKILLER?

Managed to get Hijackthis to work on it, here is a log file, if that helps. So much is going wrong its unreal.

I cannot get into safe mode all I get is an error saying Press Enter to continue loading SPTD.sys.

I get an ntloadll.exe error on startup.

The PC locks up when I load it, I cannot run Malware anti bytes.

I think you should resign to the fact that your more than likely going to have to format the drive and start afresh

    anyways, try this ~
    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/reg/antivirus-vista-2010/FixExe.reg

    then attempt malwarebytes again
