Hi everyone,
Been a bit lax at posting, with one thing and another. Done lots of browsing, but I will try to do better.
Been to mums this week, all four of us including the dog lol, she has shorter legs after running up and down their garden for four days lol
Today I have
Taken little dog to vets for annual boosters and health check, and pedicure. £66.50, she was a little grumpy (the dog not the vet) but she cheered up when we dropped in at park on way home.
Went to lunch with friend, all you can eat buffet (again) was budgeted for though.
I have checked my online banking.
I will do meal planner to last until payday.
I am hoping to get away with £50 for fuel and food, we will see:D
I also need to do a list of chores to get spring cleaning done.My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
stitching_witch wrote: »Other stuff on the list:
- pay DS3 insurance cheque into bank for him, and get diesel and milk on the same trip saving fuel
- blitz bathroom and toiletroom
- de clutter 5 drawers of dresser to find Ebay/car boot stuff
- de clutter storage pouffe as it's going to DD's house tomorrow
- 2 hours at allotment
- cut out lining for 2 corsets
All done apart from the allotment as we had an unannounced visitor this afternoon so spent the time chatting whilst making two batches of cookies and some hobnobs.
But I did achieve a brilliant bit of Moneysaving today. I had new wellies for Christmas as my "strawberry" wellies had reached the end of their life. Since having the chickens I've been looking at garden clogs to keep by the back door as I think they'd be easier than putting on long wellies.
Ten minutes with a Stanley knife and I now have "strawberry" garden clogs I can slip on in seconds and kick off again. £33 saved!:DMaking magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
Today I have
Checked online banking
Entered 4 competions - More to do
Bid for some new dresses on ebay looked at lunch time and I am not paying £150 per dress, I go through about 4 per year.
Dig out dresses to ebay that have been worn and no longer needed sell on ebay.
Been to Sainsburys and got a bag of shopping for next week and saved the price of a take away.
Checked airmiles for 2011 Hols and doing well
Daily cards0 -
Big big hugs cleos mum... If i knew how to add a hug - i would but i'm rubbish with the little pictures!! Anxiety in the morning means you must look after yourself... keep posting on here and I'm sure everyone will keep being lovely...
Triangle... i'm impressed with your love of essays...I have no such love!! In fact have vowed never to do any more studying that requires reading or writing!! You're right about making it worth it though- it certainly will be - just have to keep your eyes on the goal.

Morning all!
Had a busy morning so far already
- walked dog
- bathed dog and trimmed hair around his eyes (not very happy about it)
- made appt for doggy proper hair cut for next Saturday
- hoovered downstairs - think hoover is bust as its not picking up and there's nothing in the cylinder -poo!
- checked banks
In addition today -- Go to dog shop to get him a few bits - checked dog stocks and he actually has plenty, just dog food to buy and can get that with the weekly shop
- Pop to shop for milk - popped into Mr S when I was in town for it, just a bag of crisps too, not bad for a supermarket dash
- Write 3 lessons (last push!) - nope, will do tomorrow instead
- Do a bit of marking (last bit!) - yeah:j finally finished marking!!
- Look on web for new hoovers - have a £50 high street voucher thing left over from wedding presents so may have to use that - found good one on offer half price in Argos and had a gift card to completely pay for it - phew
- Clean bathrooms - tomorrow:o
- All food from stores -done
- Dog recovered so doesn't need vet - phew, wasn't looking forward to the bill - still fine, so money well saved, thanks doggy!
- Do any surveys that come - am waiting for a £10 voucher
- Put petrol in whilst I'm out and about - petrol was £1.21 a litre:eek:, pity cars need it, BUT the Nectar points pushed me up to another voucher I can use in Mr S for the shopping
Did some extra work instead of lesson writing (bored with that) so made good use of time
Also popped into town and bought...- 2 big shower gels
- McCleans toothpaste
- Dove deodorant
- 2 ring binders
- 2 lots of plastic wallets
- 9 bog rolls
- 12 cans of Pepsi Max
- milk
- crisps
Hugs to eveyone that needs them and a big kiss xxx0 -
