:money:Thurs 8th April - What small DFW things have you done today?
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important

Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!
  • I had a job interview yesterday so it would be nice to hear something from that although I think it would be a bit early.

    I have already:
    • put on a washing
    • Put the washing on the line
    • Folded the clothes that were on the airer
    • Looked in the cupboard to see what I can feed the children as stocks are low today.
    I have to:
    • Ring a friend who is going in to have a baby
    • Go and do 2 Mystery Shops
    • write a Dooyoo review and a Ciao one so I can check the earnings out next week when they clear.
    • Work out what we are eating for the next few days so I can go to Mr.T's tonight.
Hopefully that's all. Im being very bold as my Mystery Shops are in the next town which is half an hour's drive away. But I really wanted to go there so I took the shops on to cover the cost!

Feeling a bit more motivated today so I've written a jobs list. If I have it on paper in front of me I'm more inclined to actually do it.

Been up since 6.00 so have acheived bits already:
    • checked banking
    • checked for surveys
    • HC overnight and hung on airer - must convince DH to replace the outside line!!!
    • cleaned out chickens (left over job from yesterday but done now!!!)
    Other stuff on the list:
    • pay DS3 insurance cheque into bank for him, and get diesel and milk on the same trip saving fuel
    • blitz bathroom and toiletroom
    • de clutter 5 drawers of dresser to find Ebay/car boot stuff
    • de clutter storage pouffe as it's going to DD's house tomorrow
    • 2 hours at allotment
    • cut out lining for 2 corsets
I hope I get all that done today as I'm looking after DGD tomorrow and need to get the potatoes planted on Sunday.
