I always bring my gks back a pressie, and sometimes buy a present for dds, usualy a handbag or something I know they would like. I never by buy tat, as some one said it's just pointless clutter and a waste of money.

I always buy something for my in laws and for nana. We love them a lot and like to get typical things from the country we are visiting... in the other hand my in laws always bring us nice little things too... like bracelets and the such and the typical clothing for our 2 yo DD.
I do get really excited, we all do about opening presents hahaha.

Congratulations on an excellent choice of holiday ;)

Teeny tiny word of caution - Egyptians are the world's best salesmen, you might not intend to buy something but they want to sell to you so...all good fun though!

Thanks for the info, I hate it when people try and get me to buy stuff , I have been to Turkey many times and Tunisia, now that was scarey especially when somone acually followed us right back onto the bus trying to get hubby to buy the " genuine Rolex" which started at " 500 english pounds " and ended up at "10 english pounds" lol Believe me I do not buy anything I do not want .

Only in Egypt for 2 days so should be safe :rotfl:
