Hello,
Some MP3 player keep the order that you copy tracks over to it, and others will follow an alphabetical order so you could prefix each track with a two digit number, eg
01 Track1.mp3
02 Track3.mp3
03 Track 2.mp3
If you wanted to keep a master directory with all your MP3's and have a random selection copied to it, this would be pretty easy to write in any scripting language such as VB or AutoIT so it would do it in a few clicks.
You could make the program wipe your MP3 player and then generate a random selection of MP3's from the master directory (checking they will all fit on the player) and then copy them over with a random two digit prefix.
