can i join?? im late but i'll post sun-sun for this week.
Sun: roast pork with all the trimmings
Mon: HM frenchbread pizzas with nachos and salad
Tues: Tortellini al forno (with bolognese sauce and mozzarella)
Weds: something made with left over pork (frozen so still ok to eat)
Thurs: Lasagne
Fri: jacket potatoes topped with chilli con carne and melted cheese with a side salad.
Sat: tomato soup and a roll
Sun: Roast chicken and all the trimmings.
lunches will be picnic style sandwiches, sausage rolls, veg sticks etc.
breakfasts will be cereal or toast.0 -
Hi everyone - hope the week has started well for you all
Here is our week:
Breakfasts
- Porridge for me and DH
- HM fig and oat breakfast bars for girls (a bar for DH to take to work too)
Everyone also has banana and fruit juice. If anyone gets bored or still hungry, there can be toast (or avocado sandwich as specifically requested by DD this morning)
Lunches
- Hummus, peanut butter, "cheese" or avocado on wholemeal/crackers, with or without pickle/chutney/salad
- HM scones
- "Cheese" on toast
- Leftovers
All usually with a side salad.Dinners
Sat Baguette Pizza, Baby Corn and Sugar Snaps with BBQ Dip
Sun Mince Puff Pies with veg, potatoes, and gravy. Blackcurrant sorbet in cones.
(Tea) Tomato Soup. Fruit plate. Iced buns.
Mon Spiced Veggie Burgers and coleslaw, with sweet potato and butternut wedges
Tue Kidney Bean and Sweetcorn Couscous
Wed Rosemary and Mushroom Lasagne with salad
Thu Bean Chilli with brown rice and greens
Fri Vegetable Bhaji, Aloo Gobi (with sweet potato), brown rice and avocado salad
Girls' supper is porridge, we can have popcorn if peckish in evening. Am-snack is fruit. Pm-snack is crackers, nuts and carrot. Puds, if requested, can be fruit, soy yoghurt, semolina, rice pud, vanilla/choc pud, choccy from Easter.Love and compassion to all x0 -
Sunday - slow cooker one pot Beef casserole
Monday - HM pumpkin soup
Tuesday - HM pizza with HM potato wedges
Wednesday - Fridge night - we have a few left over portions of food, OH & I will have evening meal made of them ( eg one jacket potato, a single portion of pasta sauce, etc
Thursday - baked fish with mashed potato and veges
Friday - pot luck supper at friends house, we are taking HM apple crumble
Saturday - In laws arrive, probably shepherds pie and veg

Fri - Cold meats, olives, cheese, crusty hm bread and salad
Sat - At a wedding party
Sun - Egg and chips

Im trying to get organised with what is in my cupboards (even cleaned the fridge this am....my god it was rank!) Flylady for me!
am pregnant, so trying to eat as healthily (and foods that will help blumpy) as much as possible.
Anyways this week
Monday; Im at work late
Oh will see to himself, probs be cous cous with something!
Tuesday: [STRIKE]Chicken and Bacon pesto pasta, with pine nuts, large salad and a bit of cheese[/STRIKE] OH - Chilli con carne with Rice and Salad Me - Tomato and Cheese pasta bake (HM)
Wednesday; [STRIKE]Sausages, boiled new pots and veggies[/STRIKE] Pot Roast Pheasant, with veggies. Me; Baked Beans on Toast (full of cold and no appetite)
Thursday; OH; Rabbit Ragu with pasta Me; Carbonara pasta and salad
Friday; Seafood Paella (Prawns, Mussels, Cod and Squid rings) again with salad
Saturday; I work late...oh will probs make himself a curry
Sunday; Roast Brisket of Beef with all the trimmings
Lunches; Cheese/Ham sandwiches/leftovers
Snacks; Crisps, Chocolate, fruit/veggie sticks, soups (tinned:o)

Hi everyone! Last weeks menu lasted longer than expected (hm chicken soup did 2x dinners for oh when I was working late) Soda bread was a huge success!!! :j will make some more later in week to ensure cream cheese is all used up! (have decided to go os militant style after reading £20 to feed family of 4 for a month thread, it was long but very inspiring)
Ok this week (well started on Sat for me)
Sat - leftover gammon pasta bake
Sun - defrosted spag bol sauce, pasta and cheese
Monday - (ys) beef steaks, sachet of pepper sauce found in cupboard, marinated new pots (ys in Mr S for 10p yeterday), nd frozen veg
Tues - pizza and salad(store bought so for oh nd ds), maybe jacket with tuna for me? (no food for me, sickness bug)
Wed - spanish omlettes, salad nd hm bread
Thurs - pie nd mash, nd frozen mixed veg (didn't eat last week)
Friday - invited to friends for dinner so free food
Saturday - [STRIKE]salmon fishcakes, cous cous and salad[/STRIKE] didn't actually have this, just had sandwiches so will be added to next week's meal plan
Sunday - chineese chicken, some form of pots and (yes you guessed it) frozen mixed veg
Mon - hm pizza (salami and mushroom?), salad and garlic bread currently in work freezer so it hasn't been devoured yet
Lunches: ham sandwiches - ham needs using up before wed/cheese nd pickle sandwiches (oh I can't stand cheese), creamcheese and bagels/soda bread, hm tom soup, packets of noodles/cuppa soups ordered off Approved foods for oh
Deserts: need to make hob nobs & vanilla cake for oh & ds, fruit (fresh/tinned) and yogurt for meDF as at 30/12/16

Hi all, only just got myself organised this week, will go back to yesterday for completeness!!!
Sun - tea out at OH's parents'
Mon - mexican shepherd's pie thing using up leftover taco mince served with salad
tues - OH having home cooked fish and chips, I'm having tea at mum's after a comittee meeting
Wed - portugese braised beef (BBC good food) with mash and veg
Thurs - beef and noodle stir fry
Fri-sun camping :-) so will be eating out for teas. Taking bacon, eggs and sausages for brekkie
Mon - HM turkey chilli from freezer with rice and salad.0 -

Weds Jacket beans and sausages

Have been doing really well with the menus for the last month or so, long may it continue! This weeks offerings at The Lodge are:
SUN- Slow Roast Pork Belly / HM Herb & Apple Stuffing / Assorted Veg / Gravy
MON- Sun L/O's / Yorkies / Veg
TUE- Crispy Salmon Cakes / Garden Salad / Roll
WED- Tacos w/ all the trimmings
THU- Grilled Sausage / Mashed Potatoes / Veg / Gravy
FRI- JaimeO's Garlic Chicken / Garden Salad
SAT- L/O's or Takeaway
Baking will be some nice chewy biccies and still working my way up to the HM (totally) Loaf. Teas will include: Jacket Potatoes, Sausage Roll Crescents (new), Scrambled eggs & toast, Fish Finger Sarnies, Salads and L/O's.
