Cash ISA limits

The best buy section seems to be saying the cash allowance for anyone over the age of 16 is £5,200, but I don't think this is correct - according to the BBC budget details, the new higher allowance only applies to those over the age of 50.

it's correct as of this new financial year
the over 50 age limit was part way through last financial year
if you're in doubt, check you statements to see how much allowance you have left, mine says £51000 -
Yes, the limit went to £5100 for over 50's in September/October 2009. But as from 5th April 2010, it is £5100 for everyone.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
