In the past when I had to do paper applications, on the form I listed ALL the dates I could do, even thought it only asks for a certain amount I put every date down, I also put every park down, you can add something like 'every park from area XXXX' the more you put down the more likely you are to get something. You should have all 7 tokens to post off this Saturday (you got a bonus one last Saturday), have your application form filled in by Friday, with the tokens, as soon as you get your 7th code post it off in a post box that gets picked up on a Saturday, you'll proably have to post it before midday (check this tough). Otherwise your application is getting picked up with the thousands that are posted on the Monday (thoses people who didn't collected the bonus token last Saturday).

Hope this helps and Good luck.

Bit of info: even if you put down every day only 7 (5 + 2 'extra's') will be put into the system. The same for locations - 5 parks + 2 areas (if you provide those as extras).

My cousin used to process the forms, which is why I know this!

Even if you put down every single date - only the first 7 will be put into the system, and the same for locations. Hope that helps!

I think it was quite late in the evening last time? I say 9.30pm.

ha ha I'm THAT sad, I've done a search on the old thread, last time the site opened at 6.03pm and our FABULOUS OP - Sweet potatoe - guessed the last word at 6.35pm.

I'm still sticking with my 5.20-5.30 though.

Can you advise me on how you go about getting an extra booking code.

My mum has booked sun holidays every year since they started but has never been given extra booking codes.

I collected all the tokens earlier this year but had my cheque returned as none of our park choices were available on the dates we wanted. I had the same thing happen to me last year. :(

    Any advice, anyone?

With reference to my first quote above.

How do people get an extra booking code? Please don't point out there's a begging list. I would just like to know how do people manage to get them in the first place please.

by going on a SUN holiday ( postal booking first time round!)

then you should in theory receive a priority form each time, though some people never do / only sometimes etc ....

As for getting 'extra' codes, you use your priority booking code online and then do a postal application also in your partner's name.

Hopefully next time you'll get two priority codes, has worked for me in the past. You are never guaranteed a priority code though, we have just been lucky.

i found an email in my hotmail account, after someone else (in real life, not on here) mentioned getting a priority code in their email.

they've sent me email that contains a code! I never thought to check my junk account. no idea why they sent my mum and others a code through the post, but mine's in an email.
