Don't wear it as an after shave, then.
I fill up every two weeks or so, and haven't noticed any smells on my COLT 1.5 D-ID. I do shake the nozzle to avoid getting any drips: years of practice. Maybe that's why ladies complain about fuel smells: they don't know you have to shake it. :rotfl:

Sounds to me like you simply bought an inappropriate vehicle for your needs.
If you drive in town, and do short trips, a diesel engine is just not sutible.
Moreover, fundamentally, I can't see why this is such a big deal?
