you dont have to, they pay the gas and electric you pay for homecare service for that property, the preoperty you own.

True - but the point is that it is much cheaper if you also have the gas and electricity with them in one name.

It's part of their marketing. As all firms do, they prefer you to have 3 services with them rather than one, as it tends to breed loyalty/inertia.

BG will tell you that it's out of stock on parts due to age and tell you how much a new one costs. They also cost a fortune doing system wash outs on an elderley neighbour's property and never got the heating working right.

Some good, some bad experiences with BG cover. I have read plenty of horror stories, and they have taken an age to fix a friend of a friends boiler, but they did in the end.

Between about 8 people I know, all have had good experiences, and saved a fortune, and got peace of mind out of it. And a couple of bad experiences, but I still say it is worth it in the end.

yes but has a landlord you are providing a cover for your property, i would not confuse the matter and i would leave it seperate, its not often a landlord would pay for gas and electric its usually the tenants responibility and its ususally in the agreement.

As for having dual fuel i have to disagree, i used uswitch and they told me edf for both would be cheapest but when i went seperate, i was told that if i went with npower for my gas and british gas with my electric i would save over 300 pound by going seperate.

gas and electric yes but services i dont think you get a discount, but its the discount they tell you your getting is it really a great discount i dont think so.
