I have great experience in this one, you can tell damage as laptops tell loud. the cases inside show damage signs etc. I doubt your insurance will cover it
  • You dont have a valid claim as there needs to be a specific incident pertaining to the damage which there obviously isnt it would be considered wear and tear.

Aside from that if its £80 for a new screen (sounds about right) once you have paid your excess your only actually claiming for at most £30 and your insurrance will no doubt increase by more than that for making a claim.

I would advise getting it fixed yourself

Why are you so insistent on being difficult? Why don't you just help me?

Maybe because you are being rude, patronising and confrontational?

People not giving you the answer you want to hear does not mean they are not trying to help.

Don't you think your signature is hideously inappropriate?

Perhaps you missed my point. I just don't think that paraphrasing the Nazis' cruel lie of "arbeit macht frei," made to the condemned as they entered the death camps, is particularly witty.

    *shrug* I do.

Guess we have different senses of humour. Now the joke my German aunt told me some years ago, THAT was inappropriate.
