I 17, living by myself.
I cannot get a contract.. or can I? Is there any providers that are relaxed about it all?
What I mean is I have the money to pay from my debit card/direct debit/visa card..
But many providers do a credit check..
I guess pay as you go mobile broadband is an option..

Are you only interested in mobile broadband, or are you looking at fixed line (e.g. telephone line rental) broadband as well?
In the case of mobile broadband - all contracts (pay monthly) will require a credit check as it works just the same as a mobile phone contract. You can get PAYG mobile broadband though without a credit check.
For fixed line broadband - you should be able to get line rental and broadband without a credit check, your best bet would be to go to BT who are regulated to provide a telephone service to everyone (they may restrict your telephone usage to a maximum amount of calls per month though for example - but this wouldn't affect your broadband). Once you have this you should then be able to get broadband from whoever you want - some providers, mostly those also providing a home phone call service may credit check you - but any standalone broadband should be without a credit check.0 -
You can get prepaid mobile broadband dongles from 3 network: there is no need for contracts or to give them any information.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
