Well bad news - the 3 year rate of 4.65% has been withdrawn.
How long was this available for???? 8 days!!!!0 -
I tried to open the E Bond 39 (4.15% for 2 years 3 months) this morning as was told it is now closed. Teach me to spend too much time trawling the comparison sites?
May well pop down to Lloyds and go for their 3 year fixed bond at 4.10%.0 -

I just tried to complete the E Bond 39 (4.15% for 2 years 3 months) just, it printed my application off and asked me to send the cheque, so they are still accepting applications?
Ill be sending it all off tomorrow, so fingers crossed they will accept it?0 -

I completed the application form for this yesterday and was going to send it first class today. Now I don't know what to do. If they are not going to accept it I don't really want my money in limbo for a week??????????0 -

The call centre advisor defo told me this morning that it had been withdrawn. I got trough most of the online form last night but then got an urgent call and had to leave it, which is why I tried by phone today.
I suspect that anyone going the online route will get knocked back at some stage (good luck anyway) - annoying that they don't remove from web site.
Anyway, gone for the 3 year bond (4.10%) with Lloyds instead.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I called last night, they said the 2 year is still available, but the 3 year has gone.0 -
The 2 years 2 months ebond (39) is still showing at 4.15% today.
A lower 3 years 2 months ebond (41) has been launched at 4.28%.

These are only escalator bonds though, arnt they - the AER on the two year is only 3.32% , not exactly mind blowing.0

The AER rates shown on West Brom's home page are the ebond nett rates:
1 year - 2.65%
2 years - 3.32%
3 years - 3.42%
The escalator bonds (2 or 4 years) are a different product. See all bonds here:
