Unlocking a Tesco PAYG mobile

No, Tesco lock their phones. They only "borrow" o2s network. To unlock through Tesco you need to have topped up at least £25 and then they will arrange the unlock for you. If not, depending on the phone you can get unlocked free via internet or find someone on your local market to do it (usually arround £10 dependant on phone).0

Is unlocking Iphone as straight forward as any other phone?0 -
I have no idea. Try googling "iphone unlock" or something similar. It may end up cheaper and easier to spend the money on credit and get the network provider to unlock tho if its a problem.
Hmmm, Tesco comes out £5 cheaper on Iphone PAYG + points & Quidco then O2. But if the unlock will cost more then £10 then I might as well get the O2 Iphone.. I think I will call local shop to ask how much to unlock Iphone.
Edit: no, overlooked the figure on my paper..O2 PAYG is £25 more expensive, so for Tesco points and Quidco it's still worth it on Tesco PAYG..0 -

.If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
