You have 12k to spend, you keep your cars for a long time, you want any fancy gizmos.
If I was you I would buy a brand new Hyundai i30 with a seven year warranty. You will loose a lot once you get the keys but if you keep a £10K i30 for ten years it is has cost you £1k a year and you will probably still get £1500 for it in ten years time.
With a brand new car you know the history and for me that is far more important than fancy leather seats etc. Although I have had really bad luck with used cars.
Don't you?, I would
I think my 2nd highlight may explain your views
My bottom line is;
If you want max value, never buy a new car, as in your example. For the 12k for a new car, a year old 18k car can be had for for a similar price if you can accept a few miles.
Golden rule?
The 1st owner always takes the hit, unless we are talking exotica?
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Brand new toyotas have 5 year warranty now, and from experience they are VERY VERY good at doing any little thing under warranty...0 -
Does the warranty persist even when you sell it? That's quite cool if so.cyclonebri1 wrote: »But a 2nd hand one at 2/3 to 1/2 the price would suit better, don't you think???
Long waranties are even better value for 2nd owners,

Well the 3 year "norm" waranty gets tranferred, can't see why the 5 year ones shouldn't? unless someone knows better?? :cool:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
