Discussion, not Debate. Check the OED. There is a difference.

You are right in these savings. I do not leave things on standby. I do not have a television. I have a radio though. I dont leave lights on in unused rooms.

My electric is £15 a month on Ebico prepay. £10 per month on Ebico prepay for Gas. I dont get stung for higher rate tier one with them. Other suppliers would be expensive for me.

Zero delta you have some good points except the radio because it is cheaper to run off the mains,it will use minimal power and you don't have to buy expensive batteries

There is a board entitled 'Discussion Time' and another 'Debate House Prices' - the remainder are largely for help, support and tips offs. Controversial or off topic discussions can be removed to either 'Discussion Time' or 'The Arms'.
