NatWest e-ISA not allowing contribution over £3,600 for 2010/11 tax year!

I am experiencing the same issue as the OP; my account details state my limit is £3600. I did mention it to NW this morning, and they suggested trying "later". Well now its later and the problem still exists! Hopefully sorted tomorrow then?

yeah - if you go to their savings products page it pops up - i guess it is meant to encourage people to sign up to their ISAs etc but was helpful with my query0 -

Hhhmmm, not for me!? May be I'm trying it out of hours (although it is 9:30am weekday), or may be you are one of the chosen few...?
Anyway... the original problem of being able to transfer more than £3,600 into the e-ISA appears to be fixed (for me). I've just done a sizeable internal transfer from eSavings to e-ISA and the money has moved without any warning about going over quota.0 -
there is also a box on the right hand side on this page that says 'chat now'
natwestcom/personal/savings/g2/isas/cash-isa.ashx
it wont let me post a link so add the www. before!

Ah OK, got it, thanks!0 -
Seems OK now, I just managed to put the full £5100 into my ISA.

For those that are unaware... Natwest have been updating their systems to allow £5,100 instead of £3,600. Many ISA limits have now been changed (overnight). If yours is still £3,600 then the best thing to do is wait until tomorrow when it should all be sorted. If it is not sorted by then and your account has been missed then give them a ring. It is an issue they are fully aware of.
It was resolved today for me

According to a NatWest agent on the "chat now" service if you have transferred money into your E-ISA but it has disappeared it "will show on the account by the 9th of April" and any lost interest "will be paid and recalculated".0

Can anyone confirm the interest rate on the natwest eISA? I opened mine just before 14 May 2009 and I have over £10k so it looks like it should be 3.01%. I think it was 3.51% when I opened it.
Just wondering whether to put this years allowance in there or wait in case it drops further. 3.01% seems a bit better than the next best "easy access" cash ISA.0 -

If you took it out before 14th may 2009 you get 3.01% when your balance is between £10 -30k.
They apparently do not have to let you know when the rate drops, and like you, when I took it out it was 3.5%. However it is still a decent rate, and although it may fall, it could fall at other places too.0
