Just been trying to unlock the K3565-H using the link above.
I managed to get as far as entering the Unlock code and that was accepted successfully. Is that all I need to do or do I need to "flash" it? It didn't give me an option to do that and I don't quite understand the instructions after that part.
Hope I haven't rendered it useless!Insert not native SIM, the window with inquiry about input NCK (Unlocking) should drop out, If is not present load the program " http://www.entsperren.net/HUAWEI/HUAWEI MODEM Code Writer.zip" and enter with its help, Or through program HyperTerminal (C: \Program Files \Windows NT). To unblock the modem. AT^CARDLOCK = " ". FlashCode (Flashing) it is required if suddenly you will decide to stitch.0 -

If you've done it correctly, you can test it with DCUnlocker or by putting another SIM card inside and using it with the Unbranded Mobile Partner software0 -
It's saying, "Please insert correct sim" so it looks like I haven't done it. Will try again.
I would prefer to unlock the ZTE 627, but that seems even more difficult.0 -

ZTE MF627 is really easy to unlock/replace firmware. But you need an XP machine for the unlocking. Have seen reports that it works on Vista machines, but haven't tried it myself.0 -
Thanks. I finally managed to unlock the ZTE 627, but cannot get it to connect.
I have posted a new topic in the Techie board.0 -
Does anyone know when the credit expires? I may only want to use the service when away on holiday on odd days during the year, so I dont want to use all the top-up within 30days for example.
As far as I can tell it sets the £2 a day service on the software screens so does it mean it just charge for a days service if you plug the dongle in?:j0 -

The first £2 Top Up lasts for 30 days. After that you choose the duration that you want.
If you want a Top Up that doesn't expire until you use up the data allowance, get a hold on one of the older type of Vodafone modems. Cost around £25 to £30.0 -
I am having trouble getting an answer to the below too. The sales person told me I have £10 credit, I used £2 and got 30 days for that under the offer. She explained that my £8 now stays as a credit until I decide to use £2 to use it for 24 hrs again.
Is this correct or is my £8 going to expire? From what she said it stays as a credit until I decide to use £2 for 24 hours again?

No, your £8 won't expire. It's just like credit on a PAYG mobile. You use it when you use it.0
