I know it seems odd, and maybe their email is just worded very badly, but it does seem like they reserve their sunday visiting slots for customers from foreign countries. It's not just this one off, every sunday.Just started comping - 1/12/08 - keep your fingers crossed!0

where abouts is the shop? If its in a strong Asian area then I suppose there is a chance there could be a market in arranged brides from India/Pakistan needing bridal outfits and it might make sense to book them in on a Sunday! You'll have to find out whats going on! I'm intrigued by this

Plus there are quite a few cultures where having a bloke hanging around might be a problem, such as Arabic/Indian/African. Or, if people are flying over for fittings, the last thing they need is to wait while someone who potentially lives half an hour away does something they could reasonably do on a Saturday instead.
I wouldn't worry about it and certainly wouldn't take it to heart.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Obviously the shop doesn't want a customer - their loss IMHO0

I would email them back, thank them for their reply, and ask if they know of any other shops in the area that could accomodate your £15,000 budget.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
How would they have known that your OH wasn't from another country?
Why isn't your money as good as someone's from another country?
