Dual sim card

Yep. I'm using one at the minute on a Nokia 6230.
You type in a code (*#7220# on the 6230) to switch between the differing cards. Simple as.
The only thing I have noticed though, after I've switched sim cards I lose my missed/received call log. I can live with that though!!

Loads of em on ebay - just search for "t630 dual sim". I've just ordered one for a Nokia 7250 at £4-49 inc p & p.0

Are they easy to fit, I see they are selling ghost one on e-bay as well, not sure about the difference?
In your opinion, would you recommend them, the mobile is a nokia 6100. Thanks0 -
Recieved mine today for a NOKIA 7250 but unfortunately the O2 SIM doesn't work in either holder. Initially the SIM logs on to the network but then loses signal with a message "insert SIM". The Virgin SIM works fine so it may just be an issue with O2. I'll be contacting the seller to try and remedy it.0

They are easy to fit. No expert knowledge is needed. The following link shows an example of fitting in a 7250, I can't imagine it being much different in a 6100: http://makeashorterlink.com/?H56831D5A
I got mine from eBay, have had no problems. The ghost sim adaptors are pretty much the same thing i.e turn on mobile you're on one network, turn off then on again and you're on the other. Alternatively type code to switch sims (I think it's *3370# for the 6100).
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Very useful devices. Just don't get confused and think you're using your free minutes on one sim card when it actually turns out to be your PAYG sim!!!Sing when we're fishing, We only sing when we're fishing.....0 -

Is your phone unlocked? If you can unlock it that may solve the problem.Sing when we're fishing, We only sing when we're fishing.....0 -

yes it's unlocked. It's actually an O2 contract phone - All O2 contract phones are supplied unlocked (or they were). It must be unlocked as the Virgin SIM works OK.0 -
In reference to the origininating post, I purchased one on Ebay to use with my Nokia 6600. Cost me I think, £6 in all and was from Hong Kong (only place where it's cheaper than good old Blighty!)
I am currently on Orange for the monthly contract and wanted to use the O2 card offering the free 300 texts a month subject to a 310 top up etc.
I thought that I had the phone unlocked using a link on this site somewhere and the word "Sim Restriction open" (or whatever) so thinking it was ok to insert the O2 card to try it out but had a message saying "Sim Card not valid" d'oh :-\
I ended up having to pay £15 to get the phone unlocked and now can use any card.
Going back to the original post, I tried the card holder and it worked great for a couple of days until the next morning when i found that it would not switch between the 2 cards. Horror! Upon a closer inspection of the holder I found that a contact had broken rendering the holder useless.
So I have had to e-mail the seller and am awaiting a response from them. So it's a case of getting what you paid for and with the seller being miles away it may be worth writing the whole thing off.
Be aware that the contacts between the sim slot and the dual holde may be subject to a lot of bending with the battery in place which means over the time will sever the vital contacts.
So if there's anyone out there who can suggest a better product then I will be happy to listen
