OP, you're not going to get many replies if you're going to be rude to people.
If they've offered you a full refund, then take it, and go buy another PS3 elsewhere. You really can't get fairer than that!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

He was called tight because despite him being offered a full refund, something that he chose not to mention, he was moaning that he was being forced into having to upgrade to a higher spec machine at a cost (of only £20) to him. Clearly he wasn't being forced into anything as he'd already been offered a good deal of getting a full refund for a 6 month old machine.I can't see that the OP was rude, until he was accused of being "tight".0 -

I am merely stating that the OP wasn't rude until he was provoked.0 -
Post #5 this comes out. kopite, take a rebuke for telling only half the story. I am sure that is why the thread has gone off beam.... They have offered me a refund or exchange so i was thinking of asking them ...Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. OP- I understand why you're asking this question.
I've noticed on the Game website that they're still selling the 120gb ps3 as in stock http://www.game.co.uk/Consoles/PlayStation-3/Sony-PlayStation-3-120GB-Slim-Console/~r343273/ it's strange that they're doing this if they have no stock.
If they insist you're only options are a full refund or £20 to upgrade to the 250gb version then I'd say take the money as there's better deals out there.
While GAME is selling the 250gb ps3 for £270, play is selling it for the same price with a game (choice of God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2) http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/3-/308362/2-/Promo.html and also if you go through TopCashBack you'll get 2% (£5.40) cashback. It's also free delivery.
There may be even better offers from other retailers online.
GAME are not going to give you the 250gb version as a replacement for the 120gb version. If you think your best option would be to pay the extra £30 to GAME for a 250gb ps3 bundle then I'd get a refund for your 120gb one and then make a fresh new purchase. (TopCashBack are offering 1.5% cashback for GAME).
Hope this helps.0
