Hijack This! Log, Suspect PC Is Virusy But Can't Find Anything

I think my computer is virusy but I can't seem to find anything! (Pages not loading properly when my internet connection is ok, strange things happening like emoticons not showing on MSN, little things but enough to make me wonder).

I've got Ad Aware, Spyware Doctor and Spybot which haven't found anything (also have Spyware Blaster). What has really made me worry now is that one of my bank accounts have strange transactions on it.

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and go to UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated go to SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

Ok, just running Malwarebytes. I DID have Malwarebytes until quite recently but I found it blocked certain pages and I ended up uninstalling it (pre-virusy behaviour). I have Ad Aware scanning from last night, it's into its 11th hour and totally stuck. I'll report back

Uninstall PEER GUARDIAN and replace with PEERBLOCK (Exactly the same but works as it should)

You have 2 defrag programs running, id recommend uninstalling TUNEUP UTILITIES (After putting all the registry backups back)

Id switch off all NERO services (Not needed at all)

I wouldnt use SPYWARE DOCTOR as its highly limited to what it will remove and it slows the computer down. You should run MALWAREBYTES in its place (on demand scanner)

I had the "full" Malwarebytes and the real-time protection option on and definitely noticed a difference with pages loading, even on my brother's PC. Didn't seem to happen with older versions. :think:

Don't bother with Peer Guardian as it blocks pages too; took PG and Spyware Doctor off. I like TuneUp's One Click Maintenance so kept that on.

Nothing malicious on Malwarebytes I'm afraid.

Can you please open malwarebytes, goto LOGS and post the top part of the log (Showing the DATABASE VERSION etc)

Tuneup is a registry cleaner, running cleaners always has its dangers. You might like it, but you might be sorry one day

So is my PC clean? I'm still convinced it's virusy (Spyware Blaster seems to un-enable some protection of its own accord which isn't a good sign).

Can you explain why TuneUp's registry cleaners are bad? I've never heard anything negative about it; I've used it for years.

ANY registry cleaner is prone to removing registries it shouldnt. You might use it for years, then all of a sudden it removes something that kills your computer

I also dont rate its defrag program at all, so you removed the wrong one to my mind.

I wasn't sure what to make of your replies as they were so brief, fair enough (re the Is my PC clean? comment). I read your entries on the hop and edited my post when I got home.

TuneUp Utilities and O&O Defrag are still on here, I didn't uninstall either of them. I wanted to know your opinion as I haven't read anything bad about TuneUp before; ages ago on this very forum a few said they thought O&O was dodgy; I didn't know what to think! Others waded in saying they thought it was great.

I'd still be interested to hear your verdict either way about my PC's virusy state..thinking I may have to reformat.
