Woohoo:j Books have just arrived!!
Ordered Friday 4th arrived today the 8th :T - not bad for free delivery!!!!! (Don't think I would have got them any quicker if I had paid for express delivery!):rotfl:Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j0 -
I don't know if I like this free delivery thing. It sounds really great but as someone said above it seems that they just put your order on hold for a few days and then dispatch it as normal. So basically, they punish you for using free delivery.
I can understand if they were doing thisto prioritise other orders but I doubt that is the case..
It's a bit like the printer manufacturer that made a premium and a low-end printer - they were infact identical, but one had a chip in to make it go slower.
Amazon.co.uk seem to want to delay the order artificially to make sure you pay for postage next time - good business sense - perhaps. But ethical, perhaps not? Especially since I spent £250 with them!0 -
Ive used the free delivery and recieved my books 2 days later. I think maybe what they do is wait until they have a large amount of books all going to the same area and take them all together.0
