Hi I am thinking of buying a couple of books from Amazon and see I am entitled to "Free supersaver delivery" It says 2-5 days longer than !st class, has anyone used this and how quick/slow was their order?
Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j

It does take a couple of days, however I've found that quite often, even though they should pack all similar items together (ie all books togehter, all CDs together), they will send them individually.
If you can wait a few days, then just go for that option.Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0 -
I ordered 5 books and a CD on Monday (all in stock) and it hasn't been sent yet!
I normally expect delivery in a week and they usually are pretty good.0 -
It really goes to show how quick the Amazon marketplace sellers are in comparison to the 'real' Amazon.Iwill take orders up to 4pm, get them in the first class post by 4.45 pm and 90% are delivered by the next morning -0

My last order from Amazon 'proper' using their standard post was 11 days, and all the items were in stock. I must admit to feeling aggrieved that they can delay posting items until week 2 yet expect marketplace sellers to ship within 2 days.

My experience is one should go for super savers,if you are in too hurry you can go for express but never go for First Class, its takes same time as super savers delivery.MSE IS AN ADDICTION0

I have ordered loads of times from Amazon and usually use supersaver with no problems - things seem to arrive very quickly. However I ordered a camera listed as being in stock for my son on the 19th July (16 days ago! ) and paid for 1st class delivery as he wanted it fairly pronto. It still hasn't arrived! I've been checking the site daily and finally today it has been dispatched (just got email). Shan't bother paying for postage again, that's for sure.[0

In the past whenever I have gone for super saver delivery it has taken quite a while.
However, at the start of July I ordered a digital camera on a Monday night and opted for free super saver delivery. The date I was quoted for delivery was sometime the next week. I was very suprised therefore on the Wednesday morning to have the camera delivered using parcelforce 24 delivery. Even if I had paid for delivery I would not have been able to get it any quicker than this.0 -

I usually get all my stuff from Amazon using the Supersaver postage option. In my experience, delivery can range from 3-11 days. What seems to make a difference, is how fast they dispatch the item, as once dispatched, the items usually only take 2-3 days to arrive.0
