Blimey Nats has been working you hard Sammy! Yes Squizz got job today too, see her diary. Pap was trying to sort out changing location of where she was working, left messages but they never phoned back. Don't think she has heard anything from them but she hasn't been on much so I don't know.

Pick my brains all you like hun..not much up there! I only have 1 year of having an allotment under my belt but learning constantly. When will you get your plot? Do you need to get some seedlings planted up now ready to put in? I have lots of books on allotment gardening but they are all much the same.
It is brand spanky new so plots haven't even been marked out yet. Will get a better idea of timescales etc tomorrow afternoon:D

Last I heard she was looking to see if they had a simlar role in a location that was less of a commute cos the numbers didn't add up.

Thats good then as I expect it will be land that is stripped of the turf and nicely clean..might need a rotorvator over it to loosen the soil. Then of course you will have to get yourself a little shed ;)

Fab news about the shower Claire :)

I forgot to get my washing in and now it is dark :( Off to check BBC weather to see if it is safe to leave until tomorrow night. #

I just went via Quidco to Oxfam for a £3.49 spend and am wondering how long it takes to track - is that too much MSE? :D

They are clearing the land tomorrow and Thursday and hope to get the plots marked this month. I already dream of a shed, a nice little greenhouse/coldframe type thing, a potting bench and lovely tools and some nice red gardening gloves:rotfl::o:rotfl:

It will be something that reminds me of my late Granddad who loved to garden so much:o

Ah Luc...keep an eye out on freecycle
My shed isn't big enough for a potting bench but have a little growhouse in the garden so I can take seedlings down. Good place to get tools is car boots, you will always find bits and bobs for next to nothing :)

I have a shiny new diary which will keep my ramblings off the chat and hopefully keep my mind on dealing with debts and the other messes life throws at us:D

If no one comes and reads it I shall sulk :p
