Just watched Inglorious Basterds! Bit gory but was ok I thought, bearing in mind it was a Quentin taratino film, so you kinda knew what to expect in the way of killing and such!

Did Squizz get one too? That's fab news:j

I am off to help dig over the new allotments tomorrow. Hubbles is really run down and quite poorly so will be home to watch Nathan as the site isn't suitable for him as it is at the moment. I could have an allotment for the summer:j

Luc I will say to you now...do not underestimate the amount of time that an allotment takes! I would say last summer I spent on average 2-3 hours a day if not more weeding, planting, digging, weeding, more weeding...you get the picture. While I don't want to put you off, even at nearly 5 B doesn't mind coming down, but what she can do is limited and she gets bored after an hour. Consider getting a climbing frame or sandpit down there for N to use. The plus points are endless though, I love it and would recommend having one...just be prepared for the hard work

    Hope hubbles is ok?

Thanks Sal, was going to ask you about the time commitment etc. There's going to be a community garden too, but not sure if that includes something for kids. I have wanted space to grow things for so long now that I am determined to manage it. I shall be picking your brains for beginner tips soom I hope;)

Hubbles needs a good recharge. He's been so stressed about money, my health etc that he hasn't been taking care of himself. Hopefully now the pressure is lifted (:j:j:j) he can relax a bit.

Pick my brains all you like hun..not much up there! I only have 1 year of having an allotment under my belt but learning constantly. When will you get your plot? Do you need to get some seedlings planted up now ready to put in? I have lots of books on allotment gardening but they are all much the same.
