From Trash to Cash: the Dribbling never ends

Most houses in our area are silly money because we're within commuting distance of Edinburgh . That and there building a new train station linking us to Glasgow.
So while looking at the house I think 'ick' my mum made me look at other ones in the area (which have been up for ages) and its amazing what a lick of paint can do. Plus my mum and uncle are good at DIY, and my cousin is a joiner. Needs a new window though. And it has a SHOWER!!!! I don't have one in my rented house unfortunately.
Ok gonna stop getting excited just incase I get a big fat NO. (ps I think I will)

What will they do about the missed day Saucy? are they just doing it over 3 days now or still 4 days but starting tomorrow? just thinking if its still 4 days this week it would clash with your gp and nutritionist appointments.

It's supposed to be a 'fresh new start' tomorrow, but they can't confirm it'll be running until 9.20, and I'd be already there by then, because I'm 45 minutes away, not 10. I have to send a letter to try and claim costs for today...
Then I'd miss my appointments Wednesday and Friday, or miss two days of a four day course, making it pretty pointless. I'm disappointed, but I guess I'll get over it. I need to find some promotion methods on my own now!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
maybe try for the May one then Saucy?
I know the course didn't happen but you managed to get enough confidence to get there and navigate through all the upheaval that followed and still managed a walk to Sainsburys afterwards.
yesterday you felt too scared too even set off to the course and look what you achieved. Frustrating but you still learnt that you could handle it.

Yeah that's a good way to look at it, thanks Jo. I think I'll aim for the May one, and then see what people who go to this one think of it at the end. I'll just be proud that I did my part and wentSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0

Saucy - I will be getting in touch this week with any ideas I have, don't think I have abandoned you, just children have taken over!!
Nikki - if it is a repo then potentially you could get it a bit cheaper. The house I am in now was a repo, and we got £10k off the repo asking price. Our EA recommened going in low and said they normally come back with a 'no but we would accept...' kind of comment, but they accepted!! Saying that your starting price is about 1/4 of ours!! But if you don't ask you don't get!!
:j:j Just sold my first item on BIN on ebay!!! I had already listed it as an auction 3 times at £50.00plus postage start and not sold - this time I put a cheeky BIN price on of £70.00 plus £10 postage (I decided I wanted more money for the inconvenience :rotfl:) and it has sold. I am converted to BIN!! (Oh and the buyer had already paid before I realised it had sold too
