wow that penny has certainly bred cagne!
I know what you mean cagne how old is your eldest/ can you chat to her about it? hows your relationship with your ex/ could you offer to pay a little more than the CSA are suggestin for a while say meet in the middle of what you pay now and what you will be paying. you could agree to to that to make it a gradual reduction to less money if you think it will have an impact on your ex's ability to cover the costs.
If you don't think it will have an impact then I woyld just chat to your eldest and explain what is happening and how you feel about it and about her.

Thanks MandP you see I know that is all true and is what I would be saying to others I just needed to hear it from somewhere else too.The things he does are not expensive and on the face of it seem simple and easy but I guess he has more energy for it than me precisely because he does it less often.
AS for the house I doubt anyones is worse but we tidied the lounge a bit last night so DHs aunt could come in and have a brew when she got back from spain to pick up car. It is still chaos but its been hoovered and we have floor space. but not for long if DD has anything to do with it!!
You've all helped me feel better thanks.

oh, forgot to add, lack of money, you don't need it to have fun. An hour or two at the park (or beach if you live near one) is completely free and kids can't get enough of it, and if you are feeling flush and icecream from the van on the way home

Books - he recycles them, stuff that he charity shops can't sell, house clearances, auction houses, he gets them all for free picks out the ones he wants to sell then gets rid of the rest. Second hand book stall round here is already being done, besides that would involve childcare (can only get 3 hours a week where there is a slot for both atm) costing a lot, plus a van/car/transport which I don't have. Nice thought though, thanks xturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -

Jo - I did my best to think like you! Sounds silly, but your perspective on life is one that I would love to one day have for myself, and it is nice to hear things from others sometimes
It is true though, well all except the house....hmmmm...do I admit this? My sofa is covered in yoghurt, tea, mayonaise and now [STRIKE]pee[/STRIKE], the floor is multicoloured thanks to playdough and all of the above, and as for the kitchen, well, I am not even going to mention that one. I have discovered that being unhappy means a lot doesn't get done, so work on that one first and the rest will fall into place.
thanks for the advice btw, don't feel so guilty about them sharing now. Not too worried about waking each other up, they are in separate rooms atm and they still do this.
ETA: ok, clean up the pee, good job it is leather (waterproof) bl00dy toilet training :mad:turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -

NLID - they are comparing you to goofbay and also worried about signing up for a free trial..... need to work out why you are better and worth money compared to goofbay, and also address why you are getting them to sign up for a free trial. I don't mean stop doing it but they seemed to think it could be because you were going to sell email addys...so need to make it clear that you aren't etc etcLife is a work in progress0
