Well, useability evaluation is done - phone line kept dropping out every few seconds - didn't make it easy! £35 added to my running total plus membership of the Dribblers' weight loss challenge.
Moneymaking is at a standstill - no real Ebay action as I've had to open another (private) account (zero feedback now of course) and must now limit my listings in case I'm told again to upgrade to a business account! I wonder how many listings I should stick to? I'm thinking no more than 6 or 7 a week unless there is a free listing day.
Today have walked into town to do some banking instead of driving there - then walked all round several charity shops and home again! (Spent no money) Probably total about 2.50 miles - so not quite done my 10000 steps today - but I'm going to try on my days off to do about 3 miles walking OR 45mins of dancing to my playlist of dance tracks. Best done when no-one's home!:rotfl:0 -
Good evening everyone!!
Well I have been informed today that the council are now in possession of the keys!! Going to go look at the flat tomorrow afternoon and then they will make me an appt for thurs morning for the tenancy stuff and then I can move on Thurs afternoon!
I have found a company that will do the move for me for either 85 on thurs morn as they are coming back from scotland and can meet me up in huddersfield, but have to see if they can possibly delay a bit and meet me in the afternoon instead or the other option is 110 to do it on friday morning! This is about what I figured it would cost me to do it myself if I hired the van, insurance and diesal! So going to ring and try and sweet talk for thurs afternoon.
2 Cats, thank you for the very very lovely offer!! I would snap your hand off if I could actually have the option of waiting until Saturday but dont think that would be wise as I really do need to get out of here before I strangle someone lol!!
Right, now trying to sort out the pennies for all of this and think I am going to be about £40 short!, so need to see about taking out a payday loan to cover that. I knew if I kept at it I would manage to sort it somehow!! Thank you for all the wonderful help everyone, it really kept me focused!!
Be back shortly, need to ring the van place and see if I can sweet talk them a bit lolI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
On second thought, LOL, think I am just going to book it for Friday morning, that way I can make the appt with the council on Thurs afternoon, work in the morning, and as friday is also payday that solves the money issue!! Just means I have to leave about 2ish hours early tomorrow to go look at the flat so they can book me the appt.
hmmmm done and dusted!!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
£35 is great mrs money and love the idea of dancing to your playlist. about 10 years ago I used to bounce on one of those mini trampolines to great music and I lost wight well doing that. used to do mad dancy arm movements and stuff to keep myself amused.
no room for one in this house now.
have got the large trampoline outside (in fact just had a bounce on it) but a bit more inhibited on that!
Munchki - sounds great.hope it comes off.

There, a very lovely man and a van is booked in for 8am friday morning!!! giving him an extra tenner so we can nip over to my sons house as well and collect my settee and telly!!! Worth the tenner. So £120, which really I suppose is not too bad and a lot less work for me! Now I am officially excited!!!!!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! She's just been sick all over the new carpet....and it looks like it has stained...anyone got any tips???
Not caught up with all the dribbling yet, just wanted to say (unless you've already sorted it out) that a vinegar or lemon solution is probably your best bet. I'd go for a solution though, to make sure, although neat often works I'd be concerned about your carpet, unless you try it in a corner somewhere first. Spray on, leave for a few minutes, then BLOT don't rub. Should take it out no problem at all.
Off to take DS to the track, be back to catch up with you all later.
