Yay, did the call, went onto email to see if they'd paid me, which they had, and nabbed a mystery shop for today! Which ties in very nicely with my research into what I can get for £20 a month as I've spoken to Orange and he said if I look around at what deals I can get and what phone I want he will try to match it as I am an existing customer. I'm also getting my brother, whose phone I was meant to sell and ended up keeping with the promise of selling my upgrade and giving the cash - to try to get the front of the phone he gave me replaced as the internet keeps crashing and shutting down the screen. So I might be able to sell this one and get a new phone for me! Woopadewoop :) xx

  • Hello everybody, sorry I haven't been about recently, just needed some time out. Everything was getting a bit on top of me and I just had to step away and think for a bit. It occurred to me while I was away and I actually had some free time to think, that I am not happy, and much as I fill the day stupidly with things to do, it is all just one big distraction. The house, the kids, the challenge, it is all just something to do, not because it makes me happy, but because I have to. Maybe I am being silly, but I just feel soooo lost, like somewhere between everything I lost who I was, and it has been so long since I have been me, that I don't know who I am and where to start looking for the missing bits.

Sorry for worrying you Munchki, I wasn't ignoring you, I just don't use my phone very often and didn't hear it go off, I will text you when I find the safe place I put it in, and possibly charged the battery!

Mabel - found something on freecycle this morning for you, so am going to need your address please! Lady was offering fur offcuts in pale blue, pink, purple and red, if you don't want them, then I will go with goggly eyes and occupying the kids :D Going to collect them tomorrow.

Nikki - have found an entire recipe book on home made beauty stuff, would you like it?

Finally have enough saved to order myself some furniture for the bedroom, just waiting for Argos to give me a delivery date, after deciding on a simple bed for DD1, OH went and ordered the cabin bed while I was away along with the wardrobe and chest of draws, think he thought he I was going away because he had done something wrong! Whole thing while away was a !!!! up from start to finish, but thats another story!

big hugs mummyand paige. that doesn't sound silly at all. in fact I reckon theres quite a few people around who will recognise and identify with a lot of what you said.
Thers been a few times in my life when I haven't known who I am and even what I like and don't like.
Right now I am still not sure and am starting to try and work out my new identity as everything since having children is a bit of blur and I know I am not the same person as I was before but I haven't quite worked my new self out yet. Back then I was only 32 now I am about to be forty and I just don't seem to have caught up with myself.
I do know that evryone on here cares about you and wants to support you. If the challenge is too much of a distraction and you want to post less then We'd understand even if we missed you. but I am sure we would all want to stay in touch with you one way or another.
Wish we could all just get together and have a real life natter sometimes.

The other thought I have (and sorry for always rambling on) is that while we keep ourselves busy day in day out we can be ok even if not happy but we kind of numb our feelings so we might not feel desperate but neither are we really being ourselves.
once we realise that, we might feel pain and lost and allsorts of other feelings but at leats they are real and they are the beginning of finding out about ourselves. It can be a scary place but it is a beginning. we are stepping out of our comfort zones and the discomfort is different for everyone but it isn't necessarily wrong/bad for us to have these feelings.
Its hard because many of us like to have that security blanket of feeling like we are in control and know what is going to happen to us. begginings are unknowns stretching into the future and can be scary, unsettling and daunting but they can bring us much that is wonderful we just don't know what it is at the start.

Phil Scholfield on This Morning just mentioned Merkins  whilst chatting to Graham Norton - maybe you should be sending sample into then Mabel?????

They were discussing under arm hair wigs - saying they understood the purpose of Merkins but not wigs for underarms!!
