maybe M&P just needs a bit of timeout to crystalise thoughts.

AMber - my parents flew back from alicante about 4 hours before they shut scottish airspace.

I was going to say that was close, but don't they live in Alicante? Does that mean they're stuck?
  • Well on target - I have just put live version 1.0 of the Ebay Seller Tools.

There are still a number of tweaks I would Like to make however I feel this is representative of the softwares nature as a constantly evolving piece of work.

Fingers crossed you will now see my total in my signature increase daily for the 10k challenge. I am full of hope that this will enable me to hit that target.....

Right onto version 1.1 now

Good moring everyone. Just of to uni so I'll be back later when I'm supposed to be doing some work.

Plan to start the website tonight would you go with the idea of it being home made gifts or just focus on jewellery?

Hi Yukki !!! good luck with the catching up..have you got a spare week??!! :-)

Hi Laura-I'd go with the gifts I think, you might get someone looking for jewellery and then spot something else and buy it for someone else.

I have woken up with the urge to grow vegetables??!!!! yeah i know...odd ;-)
First I have to find the spade...then if I manage to dig my corner of earth and avoid all the rocks (our place is situated on an old quarry!) then I'll look into growing some runner beans. Did some a few years ago but couldnt for the last couple of years as the dog was in its puppy phase of eating everything!

Can you freeze runner beans...hmmm theres only 2 of us...

Oh good! Then I will have a growing-vegetables buddy, a weightwatchers buddy, and a my-goodness-men-are-rubbish buddy on here! Lol :-) have you got a chest freezer? Someone on the OS board freezes pretty much everything, you can definitely freeze runner beans. What else are you going to grow? I'm wishing we had taken 'before' pics of my friend's garden as i can't believe the difference we've made. We've gone a bit mad and have got about twenty kinds of veg and herbs - i think we're thinking, something out of that lot must survive! Xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
  • Good morning Yukki, Laura and Mabel! Bit overcast and threatening rain here this morning, so I guess I should be grateful I'm at work with lots of fires to keep me warm!

Mabel, once you've found the spade and actually grown your beans (!) you could blanch the beans then freeze them. Put them in boiling water, bring back to the boil and then boil for 2 mins. Put straight into cold water for 2 mins, then drain and place in bags in the freezer! They won't be as crunchy crisp as when they were picked fresh, but they'll last about a year, probably more, in the freezer!
