Glad the kittens are a bit better Joey :-)

I have done the food shopping, clened the car, gone out for a little spin in the car with the roof down (that will probably be the last time this year before it rains again!) Been to the shop/post office and posted Dilli/Nixis/Toots and Paulas stuff and mowed the lawn...i'm on bloody strike now!
  • well I have sat down coding all day - I cante believe I am going to class this project as finished for live tonight

Just been through it with my Better Half as well - who has pointed out a few usability issues which are being prioritised.

Toots, thank you! I will get it done but time is the main issue for me, as soon as the kids are in bed it's like someone's let the air out of me and I just droop lol! Promise you can all see it as it gets done :)
Jo, hope you've had a good day at the cafe :)
Amber, I'm very jealous! I love zombie movies even though I'm terrified of the horrible things.
Joey, really glad the kittens are improving! I've just worked out my activity for today and I've apparently earned myself 13 extra points; 3 hours (not exaggerating, could even be more) moderate digging while the kids had fun with their friends and my friend supervised them. I'm going to feel it tomorrow if not tonight but it's got to be good for my bingo wings eh :P - saves money going to the gym and hopefully we'll get some veg out of it! I would save your points and have a takeaway, you can save four each day and half a tandoori chicken is six points, I think a naan is eight but can't remember. If you got the Eating Out guide it's got all the takeaway stuff in it :) Unless of course you really wanted some wine!
NLID, that's brilliant about your launch date, well done!
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Oh yeah, and Mabel - you've got a post office that's open on a Sunday? That's crazy! And thank you :) xx

Afternoon everyone - not quite the sunny day we had yesterday here in Sheffield. Kittens are a bit better today, only two of them with runny eyes now. Haven't had chance to update my blog for a week so off to do that now.

Was supposed to be going for a run at lunch time but there is a Sheffield derby today and I'm completely homebound by Wednesday fans who block up the roads <slight rant!>. I did try to set off and couldn't even get out of the end of my road.

So I've cleared some more cupboards out and watched Columbo and had a nap! Not exactly the active day I planned, but very satisfying :p

This is day 3 of Weightwatchers and so far so good. I've still got 8 points left after I've planned in my tea, so am gleefully working out what treats I can have tonight. A glass of wine may be involved <insert evil laugh>

Hope everyone is having as enjoyable if slightly more productive a day.

Glad to hear the kitties are feeling a bit better today Joey. Ahh Columbo, love it! :D Nice way WW works out that you can save points and treat yourself!

Wow you work fast hun! Better get my skates on!

Paula, can't wait for the next instalment, but I know what you mean about there not being enough hours in the day! Btw, the post office at our local Asda-Walmart is open 7 days a week, and in the evenings, which is great! Fingers crossed the postie has something for you tomorrow.

Elly, it's certainly not looking good at the moment, but at least I can reschedule.

Got to love weightwatchers :) off to make tea, I'm confused though, will I lose more weight if I use up the activity points - so my body doesn't think I'm starving it and hang onto my reserves - or if I don't? Hrmm. I'm starting to feel it in my legs and back now, hot bath later I think!

  • Paula, as Jo pointed out previously, the exercise will tone but won't necessarily make you lose weight as such, as muscle weights more than fat. I'm sure I started that sentence with the intention of answering your question, but I've got a bit lost along the way...... :rotfl:

I do that, I start a post, then I think of something else, and can't remember what I was on about! That's fine by me so long as I tone up then, I think I've actually got decent muscles under all this anyway, I had MBTs and walked everywhere in them for two years - and I do a lot of walking! - still got those other ones, I can't give them away lol, MIL tried them on but too small! Just so wish I'd got my size then I could just have worn them myself, I love those shoes.
