hhonly I won't talk about the party I am going to vote for because it would be too complicated to explain why. It will be one of the main 3 but purely because of a single issue. however in local elections I will vote green cos we have a few green councillors locally and they have made a lot of impact locally on all sorts of issues.

lol ooops sorry - i've been away for a while! :) it may have been a couple of days ago - but i noticed the thread went very serious for a while :)Yes politics :) No subliminal messages here!:D

Sorry my fault!! Bit of a politics fiend here... My dad stood for election against Nicholas Soames!
I'm starting to feel better, so hopefully will be fine by Wed ... if my flight doesn't get cancelled by exploding volcanoes ...

Glad you are feeling better matey..... blooming volcanoes!

Mabel - the only wedding story I have is about my BIL.... My OH and his little brother were ushers at their sisters wedding, decided that it was a good idea to take the groom for a pre service drink to calm nerves. They got the time wrong ended up being 10 minutes late and the vicar was not happy. OH and brother were supposed to hand out the order of service (one between two people as there wasn't enough to go round) but as they were late the vicar did it. OH and brother had to go round the church, sorting out the order of service....the vicar spent the entire service grumpy, giving OH evil looks!:D

A big hello and hugs and kicks to all who need them.

    off to bed now.

    See you all tomorrow!

thanks all. my situation makes it a little more awkward - most people on here will know which party by now has my vote as my dad is of jewish religion. i have my own reasoning behind the vote. as for locally i am voting an independant candidate (hes been elected every year in the welsh valleys for 20 plus years now) hes been excellent and i feel for once a someone has listened to my points of view. hes also been pretty instrumental in bringing both wetherspoons and iceland to the area (he has plans for bringing even more chain names up here too)

jo thanks for the post. i wont ask anymore but like you said each has their own reasons. i believe though that it is the tories election to lose. Lib dems dont seem to be anywhere near close, labour has made enough cockups (although in fairness some good things brough in via them)

Yeah controversy love it... I think now we should discuss religion lol:rotfl:

Honestly don't care who people vote for, just care about everyone getting a decent education, decent healthcare, decent treatment for the elderly, more respect for the environment... oh and world peace while I am at it.

    How is everybody?
