    Hi All

NLID - it's looking really good. As Toots said, it's very simple but looking really nicely finished off now. Really useful - or at least it will be when I start eBaying again. Well done!!

Been catching up on the last few days, and using a word doc to keep up, so some of these comments are way out of date. But I've written them, so I may as well post them: -

Have you thought about going with your current plan of offering £7000 under the asking price, then if they come back and ask for more, negotiate with them – I’ll make it x amount if you replace the broken windows etc.

Paula- I’m 5’9” too – I must admit that it does help being tall when you put weight on as people just don’t notice as much. Wish I didn’t notice either!! Me and my sis have joined weightwatchers and had our first meeting tonight. Never tried it before, so hoping it will give me the kick I need.

Dilli – do what my builder friend does – if any of us ask him to do anything he always says “yes no probs. As soon as there’s a gap with full paying customers, I’ll fit you in as I’m only charging mate-rates of £xx. But if you want it immediately I’ll fit you in as a full paying customer”. It’s a great way of doing it as you know immediately what the deal is without the embarrassment of asking.

The kittens all have cold now, so runny eyes and sneezes galore. Took them to the vet today and they've had 2 injections each and have to have eye drops twice a day. I feel so bad for them, but pretty bugged that the vet didn't do this for them last week before it got so bad.

I finished my management course today, was really useful. I'm really going to try and implement as much of it as I can at work. The theme of it has now been added to my signature!

Hey all people. I have been 28 hours now on the stopping smoking. No patches but sheer willpower getting me through this.

money will be going into my holiday fund pot as its now 4 weeks away. 9 Items selling on ebay so far so going ok again. Trying to rebuild my reputation as well on ebay. Hoping my business cards arrive before my stuff sells on ebay as i want to place one inside each of my sales.

Mambury - s0d him, my OH is the same, says I molly coddle them, but I would like them to live, preferably with all there limbs in tact! I may overdo it a bit, but they are only young once and if one of them got run over by a car/ pushed out of a tree/ thrown in a river then OHs the world over would blame you for not keeping an eye on them. Its a lose lose situation, so just smile and nod and do what makes you feel comfortable.

Paula - are you ok? Would you like to talk/vent/moan and cry? Would you like a Jaffa Cake? They make you better (well at least according to DD1 who has just given me 4 for my poorly cough!)

We live in a lovely 'safe' part of the country, and I've only just started letting 8 yr old DS out on his bike at the back of the house, on the no through, residents only back entrance type road. And I'm popping out every 5 minutes to make sure he's not breaking the rules of going further than the sight of the house.

Children, our most precious items, you can't be pilloried for wanting to protect them.

Apart from all the things we recall getting up to, we also remember things that happened and almost happened to us, that we didn't share with our folks ~ sure makes me want to wrap 'em up in bubble wrap.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Oh Joey, poor kittens! Is it a minor thing for them or does it hit them hard because they're little? Glad someone else on here's doing weightwatchers too, if you haven't already, the monthly pass is a great idea as it works out cheaper and you can track what you eat on the online tracker as well as getting support on the forums if you want it. I find it easier than the one they give you in meetings as you can just type foods in and it has foods listed that the books don't. I've started really looking forward to my weigh-ins!
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
  • Eugh, got to sleep at 4am and am off to the drs now, hectic hour or so and have a horrid ear ache in my left ear.

Will be back in a bit,

    E x
