Today I got my Broadband Bill to find I was being charged £92.00!!
I looked through the bill and said I was being charged for 3 months of broadband in advance, I could not understand because I pay my broadband bill monthly.
I rang BT up and explained that I paid monthly and that I had not authorized any change to my payments to which they told me I still had to pay the bill. Fair enough I got to the end of May to pay for it. I asked them, could they not change this bill to what I should normally be paying and they told me they could not edit it. Yet a few weeks ago they managed to change the bill so they could give me a refund for my dodgy BT Vision. What's so different about this time?
I am not happy about this as you can tell. Can BT do this?

BT charge for broadband quarterly in advance.
Are you not on a monthly budget account?
BT charge me quarterly but I pay them monthly.
I only pay them for line rental and broadband, plus VoIP call charges, as my BT landline call charges are with Sky.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

I am on a monthly budget account but they switched it to a quarterly account without warning me.0 -
My account did start off as quarterly but I changed it to monthly along time ago, had no problem with that but then I got this bill telling me that I had to pay for three months in advance, they told me when they transferred my details to some other place, for data protection, it changed to three months.0
