they are offering me best price on my handset, but trying to get feedback on this company seems to send me to love2recycle.

I use Mazuma. Although they offer a little less than others, they're reliable and always sent payment within a few days. Plus, I get updates and can log into my account to see how the deal is progressing.

Judging by the feedback and my experience so far they are one and the same.

I've upgraded to an iPhone 4 and want to trade in my old 3G 8GB. Its working fine but is very scuffed and has a small crack in the back case.

CW only offered me £108, Mazuma offered £141 but money4mymobile have offered £170.

My first question is - will they deduct £ when they see the condition?

And should I sacrifice the £29 to go with Mazuma who seem to be trustworthy judging by their reviews? I'd obviously rather take the £141 and actually see the money then risk sending my phone off to a company that might mess me around.

    Hi there

I too have upgraded to an Iphone4 and looked to selling my old iphone 3gb 8g.

We always use Fonebank to get rid of our phones. I got £162 for my iphone but see it's now down to £142, so luckily I got rid of mine in the nick of time. I thought this was easier then selling on ebay and paying for all the fees that come with it.

I posted my phone on the Tuesday by Special Delivery and received the cheque yesterday, banked yesterday afternoon.

Not sure what happens if the receive the phone and they deem it in bad condition. My Iphone was nigh on perfect, just some scratches on the back.

There is a phone recycling review section on the site somewhere, I used it and also got quoted £170 but the reviews for that particular company weren't good, so stuck with who we have used before and that was Fonebank.

    Hi there

I'm thinking of recycling my phone via money4mymobile (which seems to be connected to moneysupermarket.com). Just wanted to check if there had been any problems with this company and also whether they will accept phones locked to certain networks. I've checked their terms and conditions and it says "Is free from any lines and is not subject to any outstanding credit agreements". Not sure what they mean by "lines" though - is that relating to being locked?

    Thanks
    Nancy :)

Has no one experienced this company? I'm really loathed to try it without a bit more info - they seem good but....

Sent them two phones a couple of months ago - and had no problem.

Pretty smooth and prompt - I did take caution to pay for signed for delivery on top of the freepost they provide.

Am about to send a 3rd phone to them tomorrow.

Used to be called something else before apparently - read for yourself http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=33842519

One thing I noted - I was trading a phone with which they offer £70 for when I went direct to their site.
But if I go via a cashback site like topcashback - the offer is about £12 less at £58.
Which is pretty devious I thought .... some people will get stung by not being aware ....

    Thanks :)
